Reminder: The Black Hat USA 2020 Call For Papers Ends Monday!

Now's the time to pitch your great idea for a groundbreaking information security Briefing at Black Hat USA in August — but hurry, because submissions close Monday, April 6th!

Black Hat organizers want to quickly remind everyone that the call for papers to present at Black Hat USA in August is open, so if you have a great idea for a groundbreaking Black Hat Briefing, now's the time to submit it!

Act fast, because the call for papers will close this Monday, April 6th! The Black Hat Review Board will then carefully evaluate all submissions, with the goal of notifying all accepted Black Hat USA speakers by the end of May.

Presenting at Black Hat is a fantastic way to share your knowledge and grow your career, and organizers are keen to ensure all Briefings provide high-quality insights into groundbreaking security research, exploits, and advances.

All aspiring speakers are encouraged to review the Black Hat submission guidelines, which stipulate (among other things) that pitches must be submitted by the presenting speaker(s)/researcher(s) and not promote products or vendors.

For more advice on how to increase your chances of speaking at Black Hat, check out Review Board member Stefano Zanero's brief presentation on how to best present your pitch. It's an insightful 20-minute talk that will help you frame your ideas with an eye towards explaining clearly why your research is top-notch, meaningful, and indicative of a new trend!
